I all but tossed my best friends, Avery and Paul, out on their asses after we finished eating. Cash invited them over to catch up on old times. The two of them spent most of the dinner telling Cash embarrassing tales of our childhood escapades. That wasn’t so bad. The three of us were hellions on wheels before we had to step up and run our prospective family businesses.

After I brought out the whiskey, they both became too interested in what my woman had to say. They asked her any and everything about her life before she visited Montana for the first time. After that, Avery and Paul did whatever they could to make her laugh. If I had to sit through one more of their dirty jokes or poorly disguised innuendos, I was going to blow a gasket.

I scowled at Cash as she waved them goodbye. It was partially her fault. If she wasn’t so smart, witty, and damn beautiful I wouldn’t have spent the last hour plotting the detailed murders of men that were like brothers to me.

“What’s that look for?” Cash laughed like she wasn’t teasing me all night in that sinful, yellow sundress.

I followed her to the bedroom and shut the door. I stayed by the door and slowly took off my hat and hung it on the hook.

“Come here,” I said, gruffly.

Thankfully Cash walked to me without protest. I didn’t know what I would have done if she continued to play coy. I pulled her close. The action caught her off guard, she barely had time to balance her palms against my chest.

“Do you know how beautiful you look tonight?” I growled against her lips.

“I might have an idea,” Cash giggled and pressed her breasts closer.

God, I loved this woman. Cash was my weakness and my strength. She made me lose all control, and at the same time, everything I did, I did for her.

I grabbed a handful of her flowy dress in my hands and pulled it over her shoulders in one swift move. My mouth dropped and my jeans tightened to almost the point of pain as I looked at her curvy body completely bare except for the tiniest pink thong I’ve ever seen.

“Surprise,” Cash laughed at the dumbstruck look on my face.

“You little temptress. You had this on all night?” I asked, picking her up in my arms.

Cash squealed and wrapped her legs around my waist as I walked her across the room. I laid her down on my bed and followed her body quickly after. Cash spent every night in my bed these days. Her stuff would be in my closet too if I ever left her alone long enough to finish the task.

I took my time kissing my way down her body. I knew so much more about her quirks this time around.

There was a spot on her neck that made her shiver with desire. Cash’s butter-soft nipples were especially sensitive. I lingered there, lathering each one with my tongue until it came to a stiff peak.
